Upload your data

The addon records your travels, deaths, level-ups and more while you play. The uploader is a small app that sends it here, where it joins everyone else's on the map, and your own characters get a page of their own.

The addon

For WoW Forever and Classic Era
Coming soon
  1. Install it with your addon manager, or unzip it so the WoWGeek folder sits in your game's Interface/AddOns folder.
  2. Log in and play. The addon records in the background.
  3. The game saves the data when you log out or type /reload; that's when the uploader can pick it up.

The uploader

For macOS and Windows

The uploader is almost ready. Check back soon.

  1. Open it and sign in with Battle.net. It finds your data in the usual World of Warcraft folders; if yours is elsewhere, use Add WoW folder.
  2. Tick the characters you want to send and press Upload. Turn on auto-upload to send new data whenever the game saves.
  3. Your characters appear in My data. Everyone else only sees totals, never your name.

First time opening it? The uploader isn't code-signed yet, so your computer will be cautious:

  • macOS: if it says Apple could not verify the app, click Done, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway. It only asks once.
  • Windows: if you see "Windows protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway.
